Make Money From Mama Mia Mania!

July 29th 2008 11:48
Mama Mia is the stage musical based around the songs of Abba, and with the 2008 launch of the movie, it's certainly a time to remind ourselves of the profit opportunities...

It took the creator of the stage show a few years to persuade Bjorn and Benny of Abba to allow her to do a show around their songs.
They insisted it would not be about the band itself, so the show evolved into a story which used the words of the songs, and then allowed them to be sung in a format which created a whole new experience.

The show was, and still is, a worldwide hit, and of course this in itself is a money making machine, which is why Hollywood comes knocking!

The film has big stars, Meryl Streep, Pierce Brosnan, Julie Waters - in fact Streep's one-take performance of 'The Winner Takes It All' is a cinematic treat.

Ok, so on to the money making opportunities..!

One way is to set up your own Mama Mia site.
Rather than stock the site yourself, the easiest way to do it is to use affiliate programs - you send traffic to other sites already selling the products, and you get a commission on any sales. This allows you to offer CDs, DVDs, books, tickets, show packages around Mama Mia without any stock whatsoever!
In fact you could set up the whole site for free, maybe via a blog.

Another way is to provide information. Film fans love their information, they gobble it up, and Mama Mia has more than just film fans.
There are the stage musicals fans, the music fans, the Abba fans.

Documentaries are all around about the making of the show, the making of the movie, the story of the band, and these are all money making opportunities.
Provide information and you have targeted traffic which you can then direct to sites which make you money.

So as you can see, it's definitely possible to earn money from Mama Mia mania!

Wall-E is the 2008 blockbuster from Disney, an adventure about waste robots. The power of Disney plus serious marketing means an animated film can be made about almost anything, and there is certainly profit potential from Wall-E. Here's how...

Toy shops are obviously full of Wall-E goods, but it's when you go to food shops and bedding stores and notice the image everywhere that you realise the money making potential.

There is nothing to stop you setting up your own Wall-E site, and stocking it with all the merchandise under the sun.
The problems with this model are not hard to find - you will most likely have to deal with Disney at some point, never an easy task.
You will also have to set up and maintain the site, invest in stock and handle delivery and customer service.

A much easier way is the second method, which is to use the affiliate model. With this, you send traffic to a site already selling the products, let's say for example Wall-E posters. You register at the site, and any traffic you send is logged as yours. If they buy then you get paid a commission.
No stock to handle, no deliveries, no customer service.
Yes, the amount per sale is less, but this model can be used totally free, and there are affiliates on a big poster site that make 5 figure sums per month!

The third way to profit from Wall-E is my favourite, and it's to provide information.

Film fans love their gossip, even more so for the big films. All you need to do is provide information about the film, and you have traffic that you can then send on to whatever site you want to make the money.

So you can see there are certainly ways you could be making money from Wall-E!

Angelina Jolie's tattoos are regularly featured in the tabloid media, as is pretty much anything to do with her to be honest.
This gives plenty of potential for online profits, and here's the how and why...

Angelina is the Hollywood girl of the moment, with her marriage and child adoptions being pored over by the press and fans.
Summer 2008 sees her having 2 sets of twins - one set of twins she gave birth to, and the other set is the 2 major films she is associated with - Wanted and Kung Fu Panda.

All of this makes her searched for a lot online, and it's this we use for profit.

A tried and tested formula for online profits is as follows - you find a keyword phrase that is searched for a good number of times each month. You also want that keyword phrase to have a small amount of competition. The keyword in this case is 'Angelina Jolie tattoos', and you there are free tools which show that this phrase fits the bill.
You then go to clickbank.com and see if there is a good selling product there which ties in with the keyword phrase.

Clickbank allows you to search the 11,000 odd products available, and it shows that there is indeed a tattoo product which sells very well.
You then sign up for free as a clickbank affiliate and you suddenly find yourself able to sell a product which someone else created, and you earn commissions from!

What you then do is set up a free blog, either via blogger.com or wordpress.com. Preferably do both, it doesn't cost anything!

Then you write or source articles about 'Angelina Jolie's tattoos' and put them on these blogs, linking them to each other.
You also put a positive review about the clickbank tattoo ebook, and your affiliate link.

Because there aren't many competing pages for that phrase you'll find that your articles get indexed and show up highly in the results.
This is 100% free traffic! What's more you know it's targeted, as it is showing to people searching 'Angelina Jolie's tattoos'

You may not think there are enough people typing this in the search engines, but as you'll see in my more detailed guide below, there certainly are!

So there you have it in a nutshell - a formula which has made a lot of people a lot of money. It can be done more efficiently with the odd expense here and there, but it's important to note it can all be done totally for free.
If you want to find out a more detailed analysis of this for just $5, you can do so at my site here, Angelina Jolie's Tattoos and hopefully you'll appreciate the potential profits from Angelina Jolie's tattoos.

Fight Club is the 1999 film which has a host of memorable quotes, one of them being 'the first rule of Fight Club is that you do not talk about Fight Club'. In fact this is just what you *should* do to open up a profit source, and here's how...

One of, if not *the* finest Brad Pitt film, Fight Club offers the same 3 routes to make money online, and here they are.

The first way is to launch your own Fight Club website, or maybe a Brad Pitt site. Either way, you would use that site to promote posters, books, dvd's, various memorabilia, etc. This could generate good profits, but it has downsides, namely that you have to negotiate deals with suppliers buy and hold the stock and run the site.

If you want to go down the memorabilia route, I prefer the second method, which is the affiliate model. You can still set up your site, maybe even a free blog and include links to sites that sell the goods. You then get paid a commission if anyone buys. You have no stock to buy or hold, and no customer service issues the other site handles all that. You may think that the commissions do not add up to much, but many people make very nice full time incomes from affiliate selling.

The third method is the one I use the most, and it's to provide information about movies. Film fans love their trivia, and lap it up. Brad Pitt in particular is a tabloid regular, so providing information about him will draw the traffic, and you then direct that traffic to a site you earn money from.

This what I mean by earning money by talking about Fight Club - you could write your own review, and post it on every movie based forum - this will generate traffic with no problem.

By the way, the second rule of Fight Club? 'You DO NOT talk about Fight Club!' I suggest you break that one too!

Cash In From Kung Fu Panda!

July 19th 2008 00:16
Released in July 2008, the DreamWorks movie Kung Fu Panda offers some profits if you know how. Here are 3 methods you can use...

The first way is to set up your own Kung Fu Panda site. You could source it with loads of memorabilia, and arrange deals with the film makers and manufacturers for potential profit.

The problem with this method is that you have to invest before you get the profit. It takes a lot of time and money arrange all the deals, and you will have to hold the stock and deal with all the delivery issues and so on.

There is potential there, because film memorabilia is undoubtedly a huge market, and Kung Fu Panda in particular works well in the toy and poster fields. I like the second method which is to use the affiliate model. With this technique you still get to promote all the official products, but you don't have to set up a site or have a stock of the goods.

You send traffic to sites already selling the stuff, and if anyone buys, you get a commission. Yes, the commissions are not as much as if you sold the products yourself, but remember this method is totally no risk. It should also be noted that there is a poster site for example that has affiliates earning 5 figures a month from those commissions!

The third method, and it's the one I prefer, is to provide information. Film fans love information, and Hollywood churns it out to promote the films. If you can write about the film, you can then generate traffic from people that read your articles. Then you can send that traffic to a site which is monetized.

Kung Fu Panda has some big name stars - Dustin Hoffman, Jack Black, and in particular Angelina Jolie.
She is a tabloid dream, and with her just giving birth to twins, there is great potential to use this writing model.
So you can see there are several ways of tapping into movie profits, to cash in from Kung Fu Panda.
