Will You Be Making Money From Wall-E?
July 28th 2008 20:12
Wall-E is the 2008 blockbuster from Disney, an adventure about waste robots. The power of Disney plus serious marketing means an animated film can be made about almost anything, and there is certainly profit potential from Wall-E. Here's how...
Toy shops are obviously full of Wall-E goods, but it's when you go to food shops and bedding stores and notice the image everywhere that you realise the money making potential.
There is nothing to stop you setting up your own Wall-E site, and stocking it with all the merchandise under the sun.
The problems with this model are not hard to find - you will most likely have to deal with Disney at some point, never an easy task.
You will also have to set up and maintain the site, invest in stock and handle delivery and customer service.
A much easier way is the second method, which is to use the affiliate model. With this, you send traffic to a site already selling the products, let's say for example Wall-E posters. You register at the site, and any traffic you send is logged as yours. If they buy then you get paid a commission.
No stock to handle, no deliveries, no customer service.
Yes, the amount per sale is less, but this model can be used totally free, and there are affiliates on a big poster site that make 5 figure sums per month!
The third way to profit from Wall-E is my favourite, and it's to provide information.
Film fans love their gossip, even more so for the big films. All you need to do is provide information about the film, and you have traffic that you can then send on to whatever site you want to make the money.
So you can see there are certainly ways you could be making money from Wall-E!
I love that fact that I make money writing about movies! Find out more about the *exact* technique I use at my site by clicking here!
