Will You Be Making Money From Wanted?
July 21st 2008 17:26
Wanted is a summer 2008 effects laden blockbuster, and it certainly has the potential to offer you movie profits, and here's how...
The film features 2 of the Hollywood hot properties, Angelina Jolie and James McAvoy.
Jolie also stars in the big 2008 animation Kung Fu Panda, and has recently given birth. A tabloid regular, film fans lap up news about her.
Scottish actor McAvoy has seen his star rise meteorically, from British sitcoms through to The Last King of Scotland and Atonement.
He now finds himself in Wanted with an American accent. With all the American actors out there, this is as sure a sign as any that you've made it!
So you could quite easily set up a site with information about the 2 of them, this could even be a free blog. You could then include links to products relevant to 'Wanted'. like posters or other memorabilia.
You could go down the route or stocking and selling the products yourself. To be honest I never recommend this method, because the investment risk and upkeep are all too high, and you don't need to do it. The affiliate models works just as well, with you sending traffic to the sites already selling those goods, and you earn commission from any sales you refer, tracked by the site's software.
There is a poster site online which has affiliates making 5 figure sums per month, so do not let the mistaken idea about small commissions put you off!
I definitely like the information model. There is a huge market in the film fanbase, you can approach the subject of the 'Wanted' film from so many angles, so it's not hard to provide an ongoing supply to an ever ready market. You then direct the traffic that read the information to a site you earn money from.
If you want a good example of how this works, well you *are* the example, reading this article in relation to 'Wanted' - this angle is the making money angle, but the theory is the same!
So you can see, there are plenty of ways to make money from the film 'Wanted'.
I love that fact that I make money by writing about movies! Find out more about the *exact* technique I use at my site by clicking here!
